1月15日（旧暦12月5日）は小正月(こしょうがつ)
小があるということは、大もあるわけで…大正月(だいしょうがつ)は、1月1日です。
他にも「十五日正月(じゅうごにちしょうがつ)」「女正月(おんなしょうがつ)」「花正月(はなしょうがつ)」という呼び名もあります。
この日に行われるのは
農作物の作柄を占う粥占(かゆうら)をはじめとする、豊作を願う行事
正月飾を集めて燃やすどんど焼きとも言われる、左義長(さぎちょう)

食の面からは
小豆粥(あずきがゆ)をいただく風習が多くの地域で行われています。
