霜始降(しもはじめてふる)
霜降(そうこう)に合わせたものと言われ、日本の気候とはズレがあるとか。現代の暦＝カレンダーからみても、霜(しも)が降りるのはもう少し先の話のように感じます。
It is said to be adapted to the frosty season, and is said to be different from Japan’s climate. Even when viewed from the modern calendar, it seems like it will be a little while before frost begins to fall.
