私が暦をお届けする時に使う画像は、その期間の七十二候をイメージして選んでいます。風景や自然現象、草花などは見つかりやすく、美しいものも沢山あります。その中で、画像選定に悩むのが虫たちです。
The images I use when delivering the calendar are chosen based on the image of the 72 pentads for that period. Landscapes, natural phenomena, flowers, etc. are easy to find, and there are many beautiful ones. Among them, it is insects that I have trouble selecting images for.

遠目には綺麗だなぁと思う蝶々ですら、アップになると「う～ん」個人的な感覚の違いなのかもしれませんが、鱗粉(りんぷん)や触角などのドアップも苦手なんです。
Even butterflies that look beautiful from a distance, when I see them close up, I’m like, “Wow.” It may be a personal difference, but I also don’t like close-ups such as scales and antennae.
5月の「蚯蚓(みみず)」と６月の「螳螂(かまきり)」は、どんなふうに表現しようかと頭を悩ませる素材です。ちなみに、蚯蚓出(みみずいづる)は「畑を耕してくれるミミズ」のイメージで画像を探しました。
May’s “worm” and June’s “kamakiri” are materials that make me worry about how to express them. By the way, I searched for an image of Mimizu Idsuru with the image of “earthworms that till the fields.”
