昨日は青空が広がり、昼間はコートが要らないくらいの春の陽気でしたが、雨水(うすい)初日の今日は文字通りの雨。初雷(はつらい)、春雷(しゅんらい)も届く季節は、まもなくのようです。
山々も真冬のカサカサと音がしそうな乾燥した雰囲気から、ひと雨ごとに水気を含んだ風を送ってくるようになりました。木々の梢もほのかに新緑の色を含み、春の息吹きを感じます。
Yesterday, the sky was blue and the weather was so sunny that I didn’t need a coat during the day, but today, the first day of Usui, it literally rained. It looks like the season for first thunder and spring thunder will soon be upon us.
The mountains have gone from being so dry that you could hear rustling in the middle of winter, to now being filled with moisture-laden winds every time it rains. The treetops also have a hint of fresh green, giving you a sense of the breath of spring.
