私の故郷、北九州にも『合馬（おうま）たけのこ』という地域の特産品があります。また、竹林面積も約1,900ヘクタール（北九州市HPより）と全国有数の規模を誇るとか。
My hometown of Kitakyushu also has a local specialty called “Ouma bamboo shoots” In addition, the bamboo forest area is approximately 1,900 hectares (according to the Kitakyushu City website), making it one of the largest in Japan.
孟宗竹（もうそうちく）の季節はそろそろ終わりを感じますが、これから真竹（まだけ）や破竹/淡竹（はちく）が楽しめますね。美味しい時間をご堪能ください。
