1つ前の七十二候は、玄鳥至(つばめきたる)。南の方から来る鳥もいれば、北の方へ帰る鳥もいる。入れ替わり、移り変わりは自然の営みそのものです。
The previous 72 pentads is Tsubamekitaru. Some birds come from the south, while others return to the north. Replacement and change are natural processes.
地元（福岡県北九州市）では、この時期（3月～5月）北へと移動するため関門海峡を越えるヒヨドリの群れを見かけます。集団となることで、隼(はやぶさ)などから狙われにくくする様子は『竜の渡り』とも呼ばれています。
In my hometown (Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture), flocks of bulbuls can be seen crossing the Kanmon Strait during this period (March to May) to migrate north. The way they gather in groups makes them less likely to be targeted by falcons and other creatures is also known as “dragon migration.”
